We report the results of a phase-shift analysis (PSA) of the low-energy π ± p elastic-scattering data. Following the method which we had set forth in our previous PSA [1], we first investigate the self-consistency of the low-energy π ± p elastic-scattering da…

We hypothesize that 100% of the energy of our cosmic system is held by a physically real Complex Tension Field (CTF). We are using an old methodology of thinking used by our forefather engineers long before the advent of modern scientific thinking. We call it…

The nanosecond single pulse was employed here to generate a large volume glow discharge between the wire-plane electrodes in air. In order to find requirements on pulse waveform for generation of a large volume discharge at atmospheric pressure, the effect of…

Water breakdown studies by Nd-YAG laser pulses of duration 100 fs, 30 ps and 6 ns at wavelength 1064 nm are pre- formed to investigate the physical mechanisms which couple the laser energy into the medium. Calculations are carried out applying a modified kine…

Using the path integral formalism, the fine structure and dynamics effects are taken into account for the broadening of spectral lines in a plasma. A compact expression of the dipolar autocorrelation function for an emitter in the plasma is derived for Lyman…

Radiative opacity of open-M-shell germanium plasmas in the L-shell photon energy region were investigated in detail by using a fully relativistic detailed level accounting approach. Among other physical effects such as relativistic and the interaction between…

In the present work, we have studied the spatial evolution of the nickel alloy plasma produced by the fundamental (1064 nm) and second (532 nm) harmonics of a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser by placing the target material in air at atmospheric pressure. The four Ni…

The paper is devoted to the proof of the uniqueness theorem for solution of the equation for the non-local ionization source in a glow discharge and a hollow cathode in general 3D geometry. The theorem is applied to wide class of electric field configurations…

A simplified form and some possible theoretical resolutions of the so-called Ehrenfest’s Paradox are described. A relation between physical consequences of this relativistic paradox and charge density ρ of tokamak plasma is shown. Plasma experiments which cou…

A novel plasma source suitable for controllable nanostructured thin film deposition processes is proposed. It exploits the separation of the process in two distinct phases. First precursor dissociation and radical formation is performed in a dense oxidizing p…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
