A new simple and efficient dual tree analytic wavelet transform based on Discrete Cosine Harmonic Wavelet Transform DCHWT (ADCHWT) has been proposed and is applied for signal and image denoising. The analytic DCHWT has been realized by applying DCHWT to the o…

This paper presents a new method for simultaneously eliminating visual artifacts caused by moving objects and structure misalignment in image stitching. Given that the input images are roughly aligned, our approach is implemented in two stages. In the first s…

The performance of the speaker recognition system declines when training and testing audio codecs are mismatched. In this paper, based on analyzing the effect of mismatched audio codecs in the linear prediction cepstrum coefficients, a method of MAP-based aud…

This paper presents a voice conversion technique based on bilinear models and introduces the concept of contextual modeling. The bilinear approach reformulates the spectral envelope representation from line spectral frequencies feature to a two-factor paramet…

The speech signal in general is corrupted by noise and the noise signal does not affect the speech signal uniformly over the entire spectrum. An improved Wiener filtering method is proposed in this paper for reducing background noise from speech signal in col…

Hilbert transform is a basic tool in constructing analytical signals for a various applications such as amplitude modulation, envelope and instantaneous frequency analysis, quadrature decoding, shift-invariant multi-rate signal processing and Hilbert-Huang de…
Om Prakash, Ashish Khare
In this paper we have proposed an object tracking method using Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DTCxWT). The proposed method is capable of tracking the moving object in video sequences. The object is assumed to be deform-able under limit i.e. it may chang…

The high peak-to-average (PAPR) is one of the serious problems in the application of OFDM technology. The com-panding transform approach is a very attractive technique to reduce PAPR, but large PAPR reduction leads to a high bit error rate (BER) by the availa…

The prediction of protein coding regions in DNA sequences is an important problem in computational biology. It is observed that nucleotides in the protein coding regions or exons of a DNA sequence show period-3 property. Hence identification of the period-3 r…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
