Wireless Engineering and Technology (WET) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in wireless engineering and technology. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists, students, academics and engineers all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and…
Abdelnasser Eldek, Abubaker Abdallah, Mahmoud Manzoul
In this paper, a number of reconfigurable antennas are designed to support multiband and wideband wireless applications in different frequency bands in the range between 1 GHz and 6 GHz. The proposed designs consist of microstrip-fed two dipoles through simpl…
Manju Bala, Lalit Awasthi
In this paper, we have simulated and evaluated the performance tradeoff with routing protocols: Constrained Flooding, the Real-Time Search and the Adaptive Tree on MICA and MICAz platform with different radio models using PROWLER for wireless sensor networks.…
Nadia Benabdallah, Nasreddine Benahmed, Fethi Tarik Bendimerad, Boumedienne Benyoucef
In order to overcome the main drawbacks of coaxial, waveguide, and stripline couplers, the analysis and the design of a compact coaxial-to-microstrip directional coupler convenient for power and antenna control application, are presented using the method of m…
Jayant G. Joshi, Shyam S. Pattnaik, Swapna Devi, Mohan R. Lohokare
A planar magnetoinductive (MI) waveguide loaded rectangular microstrip patch antenna is presented and discussed. The MI waveguide consists of two planar metamaterial split squared ring resonators (SSRRs) placed in between two microstrip lines. The backward wa…
Juan Chen, Anxue Zhang
A parameter optimized approach for reducing the numerical dispersion of the 3-D hybrid implicit-explicit finite-difference time-domain (HIE-FDTD) is presented in this letter. By adding a parameter into the HIE-FDTD formulas, the error of the numerical phase v…
Iván Zamudio-Castro, Sergio Vidal-Beltrán, Jazmín Ponce-Rojas, Jorge Sosa-Pedroza
This paper presents experimental results of a coverage analysis in a WCDMA network using the 850 MHz band; an urban electromagnetic propagation environment is considered. Obtained coverage estimation maps are based on Krige statistical method of interpolation…
Viranjay M. Srivastava, Kalyan S. Yadav, Ghanashyam Singh
In this paper, we have analyzed the Double-Pole Four-Throw Double-Gate Radio-Frequency Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (DP4T DG RF CMOS) switch using S-parameters for 1 GHz to 60 GHz of frequency range. DP4T DG RF CMOS switch for operation at high fre…
Montserrat Jiménez-Licea, Sergio Vidal-Beltrán, José Luis López-Bonilla
This work presents the experimental results related to performance measurements in GSM and GPRS cellular data networks. Two Mobile Terminals were used, in order to take place the scenario. Power Level, Power vs Time, Modula-tion Analysis, Modulation Spectrum,…

Wireless Engineering and Technology (WET) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in wireless engineering and technology. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists, students, academics and engineers all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
