Rain attenuation values were calculated using empirical raindrop-size distributions, which were, Marshall-Palmer (M-P), Best, Polyakova-Shifrin (P-S) and Weibull raindrop-size distributions, and also calculated using a specific rain attenuation model for pred…
Sunday E. Iwasokun, Michael O. Kolawole
We address the problem of interference as related to Satellite Personal Communication Networks (S-PCNs). Basic low Earth orbit (LEO) constellation is considered. The paper uses combined adaptive antenna arrays and adaptive filtering technique. This hybrid lin…

A new ultawideband circular fractal antenna with notched-band characteristics is presented. A notched-band characteristic is achieved by employing a U-shape slot in 50 Ω feed lines. The ultra-wideband impedance matching and compact size have been obtained by…

This paper, two Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models using radial basis function (RBF) nets are developed for the design of Aperture Coupled Microstrip Antennas (ACMSA) for different number of design parameters. The effect of increasing the number of design…
Amit A. Deshmukh, K. P. Ray
The dual band equilateral triangular microstrip antennas are realized by cutting the slots of either quarter wave or half wave in length, inside the patch. In this design, however these simpler approximations of slot length against the frequency do not give c…

In this paper, we have investigated the design parameters of RF CMOS switch, which will be used for the wireless tele-communication systems. A double-pole four-throw double-gate radio-frequency complementary-metal-oxide-semicon- ductor (DP4T DG RF CMOS) switc…
Behzad Omidali, S. S.Ali-Asghar Beheshti Shirazi
In this paper, a method for sensor placement to improve the placement quality based on angle of arrival of signal in a specific area is proposed. The installation place of sensors may be constrained with specified boundaries. In this me-thod, the criterion of…

Vast segments of the frequency spectrum are reserved for primary (licensed) users. These legacy users often un-der-utilize their reserved spectrum thus causing bandwidth waste. The unlicensed (secondary) users can take advantage of this fact and exploit the s…

This paper designs an underwater acoustic communication system based on tamed spread spectrum and Frequency Hopping Multiple Access (FHMA) for multiple underwater vehicles. In this system, multiple underwater vehicles can communicate with the console on the w…

Wireless Engineering and Technology (WET) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in wireless engineering and technology. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists, students, academics and engineers all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
