The World Journal of Mechanics (WJM) will cover the general field of mechanics including the mechanics of solids, structures and fluids and their interaction. The goal of this journal is to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work which contributes to the understanding of t…

This paper studies a method for obtaining the stress with plastic deformation by finding the plastic strain on U-bent specimens of austenitic stainless steel that have been subjected to large plastic deformation using the EBSD (Electron Backscatter Diffractio…

Disks with two different dimensions were used to clarify the differences in final vortex structures generated by the change in disk acceleration time. The experiment results and calculated results of vortex structures match when the disk thickness is 20 mm an…

A solid ball of mass m , size r and spin ω about an axis through its center is dropped freely from a height h on a rough horizontal plane. Assuming its angular momentum is parallel to the horizontal plane upon impact it bounces repeatedly drifting on a vertic…

This work investigates the square lattice in the presence of an-ti-ferromagnetic exchange considering the two-dimensional Ising Villain model. A computational scheme is constructed to evaluate the degeneracy of ground states at zero temperature employing the…
Haiduke Sarafian, Nenette Hickey
Two massive blocks are connected with a massless unstretchable line of 2l. One of the masses is placed on a horizontal frictionless table, l distance away from the edge of the table the other one is held horizontally equidistance from the edge along the exten…
D. M. Davakan, A. El Ouafi
The objective of this study is to develop an effective approach for product quality prediction in Computer Numerical Control turning of cantilever bars. A systematic predictive modelling procedure based on experimental investigations, neural network modelling…

A chemical non-equilibrium form of the superconductor like potential in the EW theory has been derived. It is obtained from the rate-equation for binding of fermions (quarks) to antifermions (antiquarks) and the spatial correlations for such pairs. In this mo…

Collagen is the major structural fiber found in mammalian tissues. It is a protein in the form of a triple-helix which is found in several subfamilies, the most abundant of which is the fiber forming group containing Types I, II and III. Type I collagen is fo…

The theory of dynamic interactions suggests a new paradigm of mechanics and initiates us into a new area of knowledge, hitherto undeveloped. In this paper, we describe the innovations that this theory brings to physics, and in particular, the ideas expressed…
Veronica Barceló
This paper describes the theses that constitute the Theory of Dynamic In-teractions. It is the scientific legacy of its promoter, Dr. Barceló who, after more than forty years developing this research project, has published his first book in the English langua…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
