Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are promising functional compounds; however, they are known to be moisture sensitive. Here, we investigate the hydration and dehydration processes of the carboxylate-containing MOFs [Ni 2 (nic) 4 (H 2 O)]n (nic = nicotinic acid…

Perturbation methods are employed to calculate time variation in the orbital elements of a compact binary system. It turns out that the semi-major axis and eccentricity exhibit only periodic variations. The longitude of periastron and mean longitude of epoch…

An experimental investigation was performed to investigate two-dimensional axial velocity field at downstream of the 90 ° double bend pipe with and without inlet swirling condition. The main objectives are to find separation region and observe the influen…

Treatment of bone tumors in the mandible often involves extensive excavation of affected bone, followed by mandibular reconstruction. Prosthetic implants may be needed to restore jaw functionality. The challenges of making prosthetic bone implants include str…

The literature model studied in this article describes bubble formation and growth in a highly viscous polymer liquid with support of a gaseous matter dispersed under pressure before foaming. The foam growth is induced by the application of vacuum and mass tr…

In order to clarify the reason why the creep rupture time of pre-strained Ni-23Cr-7W Alloy (HR6W) is longer than that of the non-pre-strained HR6W, microstructures of HR6W after a series of creep tests were investigated. The creep tests were conducted at 750…

Extracellular matrices (ECMs) found in vertebrate tissues are fiber reinforced composite materials that prevent premature mechanical failure, store, transmit, and dissipate mechanical energy generated by the musculoskeletal system. We have developed a new met…

We conducted numerical simulations of the related processes of interface instability, tensile fragmentation, and jetting resulting from four kinds of typical macro defect perturbations (chevron, sine wave, rectangle, and square) on a Cu free surface under a r…

The description of the received new results of field geological (teсtonophysical) study of massifs of rocks is provided: tectonic jointing, explosive and folded deformations, mirrors of slidings, tectonic motions of blocks of breeds. Reconstruction of fields…
