The World Journal of Mechanics (WJM) will cover the general field of mechanics including the mechanics of solids, structures and fluids and their interaction. The goal of this journal is to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work which contributes to the understanding of t…

The numerical analytic research approach of stress-strain state of anisotropic composite finite element area with different boundary conditions on the surface, is represented below. The problem is solved by using a spatial model of the elasticity theory. Diff…

The 6061-T651 aluminium alloy is one of the most common aluminium alloys for marine components and general structures. The stress intensity factor (SIF) is an important parameter for estimating the life of the cracked structure . In this paper, the stress int…

This paper presents a probabilistic approach for studying the reliability of cementless hip prostheses in the presence of mechanical uncertainties and its application to the investigation of the influence of bone-implant interface properties. The non-linear d…
Saeed A. Asiri, Yousuf Z. AL-Zahrani
A new class of support structures, called Periodic Structures, is introduced in this paper as a viable means for isolating the vibration transmitted from the sea waves to offshore platform structures through its legs. A passive approach to reduce transmitted…
Robert L. Bish
The problem analytically investigated is that a thin free plate of mild-steel struck at normal incidence by a flat ended rigid rod moving at high velocity. As in quasi-static deformation by extended slip, the strain-rate tensor is solenoidal and under dynamic…

The aim of this paper is to present the laws of motion that can be derived from the Theory of Dynamic Interactions , and of its multiple and significant scientific applications. Based on a new interpretation on the behaviour of rigid bodies exposed to simulta…

In this paper, cold bulge forming of titanium alloy Ti55 was investigated. This process was done successfully and titanium alloy Ti55 was formed completely. Also, in the numerical work, this process has been investigated using Abaqus/ Explicit code. The resul…
Sergey Makarov
This article described the opening of a new law in fundamental physics, namely the law of the formation of an endless series of suspension (cable-stayed) networks coatings. Opening relates to the mechanics, section of statics.

Over the past two decades high-speed vessels have extended their service areas from protected waters to the open ocean where frequent and large water impacts can result in structural damage. The accurate prediction of slamming loads, and their consequences on…

It is known that there is a force of repulsion (or attraction) between two similar (or dissimilar) charges and the laws governing these forces are well established in electrostatics. However, the exact mechanism and the origin for these forces are not known.…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
