Energy harvesting is a rapidly growing area in many scientific and engineering-related fields due to the demand for many applications. This paper focuses on the design and simulation of the voltage doubler rectifier circuit at 2.45 GHz operating frequency. Th…
Mathurin Gogom, Rodolphe Gomba, Desire Lilonga-Boyenga
For years, capacitive effects have been the subject of research [1] and [2]. The capacitive effects are discrete capacitors that appear between active conductors of power lines and between them with the ground plane, generating capacitive reactive power to th…

Microgrid (MG) systems effectively integrate a generation mix of solar, wind, and other renewable energy resources. The intermittent nature of renewable resources and the unpredictable weather conditions contribute largely to the unreliability of microgrid re…
Bernard Zouma, Fabé Idrissa Barro, Prince Abdoul Aziz Honadia
This paper investigates theoretically the behavior of the space charge region of a silicon solar cell and its associated capacitance under the effect of an external electric field. The purpose of this work is to show that under illumination the solar cell’s s…

This work focuses on blending Jatropha oil with diesel fuel and heptane to improve its physico-chemical characteristics for production of blends and their use as fuel in a diesel engine. The influence of the heptane content was evaluated by comparing the resu…
Paul Abena Malobe, Philippe Djondine, Pascal Ntsama Eloundou, Hervé Abena Ndongo
This manuscript presents a new approach MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for improving and optimizing the performance of a Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) operating for small variations in wind speed by combining sliding mode control and fuzzy logic c…

Radiation is a form of energy where the angular variable of the direction of its photons has a primary importance, particularly for radiation concentration processes, which are essential tools to reach high temperatures from radiation beams (as the solar ones…
Keoagile Mogorosi, M. Tunde Oladiran, Edward Rakgati
This paper presents dynamic modeling of 1000 W EC6C Proton Exchange Membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) manufactured by Edibon. Experiments were carried out to investigate the performance of the system and a dynamic electrical model was implemented in Matlab/Simulink.…

EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
