To reach an acceptable controller strategy and tuning it is important to state what is considered “good”. To do so one can set up a closed-loop specification or formulate an optimal control problem. It is an interesting question, if the two can be equivalent…

This paper considers the optimal control problem for the bilinear system based on state feedback. Based on the concept of relative order of the output with respect to the input, first we change a bilinear system to a pseudo linear system model through the coo…

The analysis and design of observed-based nonlinear control of a heartbeat tracking system is investigated in this paper. Two of Zeeman’s heartbeat models are investigated and modified by adding the control input as a pacemaker, thereby creating the control-a…
Abdelfatah Nasri, Brahim Gasbaoui
A novel speed control design of 4WD electric vehicle (EV) to improve the comportment and stability under different road constraints condition is presented in this paper. The control circuit using intelligent adaptive fuzzy PI controller is proposed. Parameter…

Four-Wheels-Drive (4WD) electric Vehicle (EV) controlled with Direct Torque Control based Space Vector Modulation (DTC-SVM) is presented, where the electrical traction chain was well analyzed and studied from the lithium battery, the buck boost to the mechani…

Rotor flux and torque of an induction motor (IM) are decoupled to obtain performance of DC motor. The decoupling strategy has been developed in terms of stator current components where the core loss is neglected. Many different controllers including fuzzy log…

The precise control upon each degree of freedom of a robotic arm is a great challenge in implementing industrial work. This paper aims to design a novel controller for an automated robotic arm. A discrete Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control techniq…

Supervisory control and fault diagnosis of hybrid systems need to have complete information about the discrete states transitions of the underling system. From this point of view, the hybrid system should be abstracted to a Discrete Trace Transition System (D…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
