This paper aims to model a subcooled flow boiling in a vertical stainless-steel micro-channel with an upward flow in 1 mm diameter, 40 mm length and 0.325 mm thickness tube. Water has been considered as a working fluid. The heat flux varies from 600 - 750 kW…

Goal : In the process of exploitation of ceramic composites often we encounter not only high mechanical stresses but also thermal loads and air-thermal shocks. These loads are transformed into failure/rupture stress energy, when strength of work-pieces is les…

By placing a sample between a heated and a cooled rod, a thermal conductivity of the sample can be evaluated easily with the assumption of a one-dimensional heat flow. However, a three-dimensional constriction/spreading heat flow may occur inside the rods whe…

The electrocaloric effect (ECE) is defined as the fact that the temperature of dielectric material changes, when an electric field is applied to or removed from the material [1]. It might be a possible solution for the increasing energy consumption for therma…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
