International Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IJAA) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality original research in all the fields of astrophysics and space sciences and related technology. All the manuscripts must be prepared in English and are sub…

It is known that the cosmological constant can be dynamically tuned to an arbitrary small value in classes of scalar tensor theories. The trouble with such schemes is that effective gravity itself vanishes. We explore the possibility of avoiding this “no-go”…

In the present manuscript, we investigated the relativistic effects on the existence of libration points in the Sitnikov Restricted Three-Body Problem (SRTBP). The Brumberg relativistic model is employed to incorporate post-Newtonian effects into the classica…

We study linear density perturbations in an extension of Newtonian cosmology. The extension includes warm dark matter and baryons. The effect of the warm dark matter particle thermal velocity is to prevent short wavelength perturbations from growing. We obtai…

In this research paper, we explore how the K index changes in connection with shifts in solar activity throughout Solar Cycle 23. We examine indicators of solar activity such as sunspot numbers, radio solar flux (measured at 10.7 cm), and sunspot area to unde…

Solar activity has a profound impact on space weather, influencing both the surrounding space environment and terrestrial technological infrastructure. Previous studies have primarily focused on specific categories of Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs), such as…

This paper deals with the linear stability of non-axial libration points in the kite configuration of first kind. It is to be noted that the kite configuration of the first kind exists for the mass parameter μ ∈ ] 0 , 1 / 3 [ , where μ is the ratio of the sma…

We revisit the Cygnus OB2 region to perform a detailed open cluster census taking profit from the high accuracy of Gaia DR3 astrometric and photometric data. HDBSCAN clustering algorithm is applied to the five astrometric parameters ( α , δ , μ α cos δ , μ δ…

Contemporary physics holds that it is not possible for an electron to absorb a photon or to form a composite system as the resulting physics thereof leads to a scenario that can not be obtained in reality— i.e. , it leads to a situation that requires the elec…

This paper is our evaluation of the astrobiological significance of recent findings secured using the James Webb Telescope on the “biomarker” composition in the atmosphere of the Earth-like exoplanet, K2 18b. Thus, to put this finding in perspective, we brief…

Under the assumption that planetary dust particles can escape from the gravitational attraction of a planet, we consider the possibility of the dust grains leaving the star’s system by means of radiation pressure. By taking the typical dust parameters into ac…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
