Silver (Ag) and silver antimonate (AgSbO 3 ) composites with different amounts of Sb 3+ were synthesized by normal sintering with the aim of realizing a thermoelectric material. The electrical conductivity ( σ ) increased in the sample containing larger amoun…

Gelatin (Gel) and chitosan (CTS) have several biomedical applications because of their biodegradability and biocompatibility. Crosslinking of Gel and Gel/CTS systems was evaluated using N -acetyl-D-glucosamine (GlcNAc) formed into sponges by lyophilization. T…

Two dimensions (2D) C/SiC laminated composites is the material with isotropic properties in laminated sheets, which is considered as a pro mising thermal skin for aircrafts. There are intense thermal flux and thermal impact at the local interference region du…

Rudder is an important part for the glider aircraft. In order to satisfy the long-time high-velocity for the near-space vehicle in the atm osphere, the light- weight, high-stiffness and high-strength all-composites rudderpost is required urgently to be prepar…

This research builds upon the authors’ previous work that introduced and modeled a novel Gallium-Arsenide, Emitterless, Back-surface Alternating Contact (GaAs-EBAC) thin-film solar cell to achieve >30% power conversion efficiency. Key design parameters are op…

This paper demonstrates that threshold voltages of GaN MISFET are controlla-ble by varying the Mg ion doses for Mg ion implantation. Furthermore, it de-monstrates for the first time that the short channel effect can be suppressed using a halo structure that h…

We have developed a microwave plasma heating technique to rapidly heat the transition metal. W/SiO2 layers were deposited on Ge/Si heterostructures. By heating the W, dislocations in Ge layers originated from lattice mismatch between Ge and Si crystals were r…

We developed an apparatus for producing high-density hydrogen plasma. We confirmed that the temperatures of transition-metal films increased to above 800?C within 5 s when they were exposed to hydrogen plasma formed using the apparatus. We applied this phenom…

Strain-relaxed SiGe is an attractive material for use as a substrate of strained Si, in which carrier mobility is higher than that of bulk Si. The concept of this study is the use of porous Si as a sponge like substrate so that a SiGe lattice can relax withou…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
