The features of a cylindrical shear-axial wave scattering by a circular cavity in piezoelectric crystal of 6(4)-class of symmetry are discussed. It is shown that the basic integral characteristics of scattering—scattering indicatrix and total cross-section sc…

/h/ is described differently by different researchers. While some argue that /h/ is a glottal fricative, others argue that it is the voiceless counterpart of the following vowel, yet others argue that /h/ is a glide or an approximant. However, de - tailed aco…

Temperature dependence of ultrasonic attenuation and allied parameters are investigated for manganese oxide in the temperature range 300 - 500 K. These calculations are made for longitudinal and shear waves along the <100>, <110> and <111> crystallographic di…

Generation and propagation of ultrasonic waves in single layer Graphene Nanoribbon is studied using semi - classical approach. When piezoelectric Graphene Nanoribbon (GNR) is exposed to time varying light beam, ultrasonic waves are produced which propagate in…

Standard phase-domain pulsed Doppler techniques used in Colour Flow Mapping such as spectral Doppler or autocor relation are monochromatic, focused on the analysis of the centre transmit frequency. As such all the algorithms using those approaches are limited…

The article is devoted to a problem of sedimentation of superfine aerosols with a characteristic size of particles, an order of values of micrometers. Acceleration of the sedimentation process is promoted by imposing of an acoustic field that leads to acceler…

Increase of efficiency of cavitation processes in liquids and melts is reached by gas cavities saturation with the sizes not exceeding the resonant sizes of cavitation germs. Gas saturation of liquids and melts raise s level of cavitation pressure upon 20% -…

The given work studies the reason of the change of a superfluous current near crystallization temperature of an amorphous α PbSb metal alloy and at the same time founds out the influence of ultrasonic processing (USP) on the properties of α PbSb-nSi solar ele…

This paper describes ultrasonic image registration for multi-frequency analysis. The goal of our research is the portable and real time brain diagnosis under the thick-skull. The choice of ultrasonic frequency is a trade-off between spatial image resolution a…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
